How many seasons are played in Prosper Baseball and Softball Association?

Two, Spring and Fall. Spring registration begins in November and ends in January. Practices begin in February and games in March. Fall registration generally runs from June-July and starts practices/games in September. It runs through November.

How do I register?

Registration is open immediately prior to the Spring and Fall seasons. Click the 'Account/Register' menu item. From there, either sign into your account or create a new account if you have never registered with us before.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are offered at for parents that request refunds from the Player Agent by the following dates:

  • 1. 100% if a request is made to the President before the end of regular registration (i.e., extended registrations is not regular registration);
  • 2. 50% if a request is made to the President after the end of regular registration and before practices start; and
  • 3. 0% after practices start.

How do I report an incident or injury?

Please fill out the form to complete the incident/injury report, and e-mail it to the Safety Office.

Softball: What are the divisions?

  • 6U Beginning Coach Pitch (4-6): 6 swings (typically 3-5 coach pitches, then the tee); no scores/standings kept; instructional league; 11-inch safety ball
  • 8U Coach Pitch (7-8): Coach pitcher; scores/standings kept.
  • 10U Modified Kid Pitch (9-10)
  • 12U Kid Pitch (11-12)

Softball: How are teams formed?

8U-12U: For the Fall season, coaches are allowed to protect six players from their previous team. Teams are then filled out through an assessment-based draft. If assessments are not held, a blind draft is utilized. For the Spring season, coaches will keep their teams from the Fall season. Gaps are filled and new teams are created, as needed, through an assessment-based draft. Coach and friend requests are honored where possible. 6U: For the fall, returning coaches will keep their returning players. Rosters will be filled out and new teams will be created based on geography and special requests. For the spring, coaches will keep their teams. Gaps are filled and new teams are created, as needed.

Softball: What equipment does my child need?

Each player will need their own glove, batting helmet, and bat, as the league does not provide these items. Batting helmets must have face masks, and for 6U, must have a chin strap. Players will also need cleats and an equipment bag. Fielding masks are required for pitchers at all levels, and strongly encouraged for all players.

Softball: Are uniforms included in my registration fee?

Uniform tops are included with registration. Your individual coach will notify you regarding the color/style of pants, socks, and belts that you need to purchase.

Baseball: What equipment does my child need?

We recommend each player have their own glove and batting helmet. It is recommended that batting helmets have face masks and chin straps. Players may also want to have a bat, cleats and equipment bag.

Baseball: Are uniforms included in my registration fee?

Yes, MLB replica tops and hats are provided for A league players. AA league teams purchase their own uniforms at their own cost.

Baseball: What is included in my registration fee?

Registration fees cover a MLB replica uniform top and hat, player insurance, umpire fees (ACP and above), game balls/equipment, Town/field maintenance fees, and administrative fees.
